Desde que ouvimos o primeiro single, Estrela Mãe sabíamos que o Desastros estava prestes a lançar algo grande. E estávamos certos. O álbum homônimo, lançado em outubro, é simplesmente um choque — no melhor sentido possível.

Formado por Sara Não Tem Nome, Julia Baumfeld, Bernardo Bauer, Felipe D’Angelo e Pedro Hamdan, o coletivo mineiro mistura som, arte visual e um certo caos bonito. Tudo em Desastros soa como se a banda tivesse encontrado o ponto perfeito entre o indie alternativo e a força telúrica do Brasil — o som da terra, o som do corpo, o som da vida.

Desastros: an indie dive into the roots of the earth

Ever since we heard the first single, Estrela Mae, we knew Desastros was about to drop something special. And we were right. Their self-titled debut, released this October, is a shock — in the most beautiful way.

Formed by Sara Não Tem Nome, Julia Baumfeld, Bernardo Bauer, Felipe D’Angelo and Pedro Hamdan, the Minas Gerais collective blends sound, visual art, and a touch of chaos. Everything in Desastros feels like it’s rooted in the land — a dialogue between indie experimentation and the raw pulse of Brazil.
